    FS: @eBay - 1967S - How fast before it's gone?

    From eBay; (NOT MINE)

    Buy it Now: $159,000.

1967 Porsche 911S Coupe Matching Barn Find 39K original miles

1967 Porsche 911S Barn Find. This car has been sitting in the same Barn since 1987. The car has only 39,000 original miles.

The original interior, down to the original radio, is flawless and shows almost no sign of wear. The Engine is the original one and the transmission as well ( MATCHING NUMBERS).

The doors and the deck lid are matching numbers as well.

Excellent Gaps, extremely consistent throughout the car.

Original floors and rock solid, please look at the pictures.

The Original color was the highly desirable Irish Green. The car was painted black in the early 80s.

We have the original warranty book with the stamped service records.

It still has the original tool bag, the original spare tire and the factory touch up green paint.

The front fenders and the front bumper have been replaced from fiberglass ones and we do not know the reason. However no sign of front end collision was found and the inner structure is completely solid and original.

We haven't attempt to start the engine yet but we'll do that shortly

This is a real 1967 911S, the most desirable 911S ever.

COA on the way but all the numbers have been confirmed.

    Vin: 307425S

    Engine: 961179

    Color code: 6606 Irish Green

Now we get to see what a restoration candidate '67S will go for publicly.

    AGAIN, NOT MY CAR!

    Cheers,
    -Mike

For sitting so long and being originally from the northeast this car is in really nice shape. I wouldn't restore this car at all besides the obvious respray to Irish Green (after sourcing correct front fenders and front bumper)

Agreed~ Good eye on the bumper! What am I missing about the front fenders?

We won't necessarily know at all what it sells for, but it would be great to know -

Lots of unknowns, especially if they haven't turned it over.

This one plus the Houston Auction car makes two 1967 911S Irish Green cars at apparently both ends of the spectrum for sale right now, FWIW.

The fenders and the bumper are fiberglass replacements...

Done. No Longer Available. As Mike D. pointed out on the first post it was a no brainer. Somebody got a nice '67S.

Great car because its 90% 'there'. All the hard to find parts (except front fenders) come with the car..it would appear.

Assuming this car will be 'restored' and his starting point is $150k...where will he end up?

Indicator of the direction of the market.
