Question How to find engine serial number from a fake one

    Hi,

I have in my garage a 3.0 SC 1978 with a fake/false engine serial number - it has been erased and punched again with a silly one. Is there anyway to find the correct one ?
    Cheers.

Very unlikely. If the "boss" that the number is stamped on was machined flat before the re-stamp I doubt any forensic evidence is left.
