Talking My other 911 - 1983 SC - RSR tribute

Since I finally installed the wiper arms and took it for a long drive...

Still a few details to attend to for example, hood pins... for the life of me I can't remember where I put them... so got to get a new set. Need to find a rubber trim for between rear bumper and body. Need to drill the hole for the cigarette lighter (for phone charger). Need to completely detail the engine, clean the oil lines (those were painted and I want them back to their original, unpainted, color).

And after the work that I started doing on the 912... man... I have this itch to just redo ALL the hardware, brake calipers, torsion bars, etc. It is a sickness indeed...

As long as you get to drive that car any way you wish, all the other projects will be worth it. Vroom Vroom

    Beautiful car Bruce,
I'm considering a nice '88 Carrera with G50 to backdate to something like yours. Can you walk me through yours briefly ?
My one concern is that these cars are starting to climb in value and it might be a shame to alter one. On the other hand there were so many of these cars made I can't imagine them exploding like the early cars (famous last words). I guess it is pretty reversible.
