so the schutz went on over the primer? All the schussed areas on my car were painted body color, but I wondered what was underneath. I recall seeing the factory dip chassis into primer, just can't recall if that was during the seventies or maybe later in the 80's.

    Nice shots of 73.5.

Are the above pics from Doug perhaps a pre-73 car, and which I've read would have black (not body color) underside and wheel wells?

    Hi everyone

I am new to this forum and early last year I bought the silver low-mile 73.5 T car VIN 9113102929 referenced above / in the first post (also here: https://www.sanfranciscosportscars.c...he-911t-c-753/ ) and absolutely love it. It's like owning a brand-new-old-car (if that makes sense). Just found this thread. Happy to answer any Q's

The 911 is my daily driver and I'm totally insensitive to adding many fast miles.
I intend to keep it for a very long time and the stamped manufactured date is 05/73, which happens to be the month and year I was born
I have met another local early 911 owner who also owns his birthdate car - is this a regular occurrence?

Hoping all are safe and enjoying their fantastic cars.

Thanks to everyone for posting such great articles / research material on this Registry. V useful.

    Kind regards, Paul
