Correct door panel vinyl for a 72 T?

My 72T came with basketweave door panels; are these correct; was this an option in 1972 or should the panels be the same as the lower dash?

I have a 73.5 that came to me with basket weave door vinyl. I got replacement vinyl from Autos International, which they say is very close. There were apparently two different vinyls used on the interior. E.g., the door card itself had one (slightly coarser) and the door pockets had a different (slightly finer). AI will sell you the appropriate one.

These two carried over into the rear area, but not sure which went where. Can someone fill in the details?

Here's my 72T which I believe has original panels... Sadly not a close up, it is in storage right now until I move...

It's almost flat with little veins in it.... Not sure it's elephant hide or what, nomenclature wise. It's not basket weave. Let me dig for my phone pictures I might have a close up...

Better shot of the dash, same material, which I redid with the stock radio:

The doors, being older, seem a little flatter than the dash stripe though.... Less depth to the veins and creases ?

    Original Door Panels 1972

My 1972 911T had the original door panels removed and replaced (fortunately he kept the original panels and supplied them with the car).

    Some close ups:
