Looks like a great dog … and when they’re gone, its tough to understand beforehand how much you miss them. My guy died a year ago, March 27th. Miss him a little bit every day.

The stories shared over the past couple of days really show how attached we become to our 'best friends' with LongRangers lovely story of Porty having me to dry my eyes.
So,,, without further ado we shall straighten our backs and with a raised chin move right on along.

One of my dogs has taken to chewing holes in the dog beds. They have one each and sleep in either. I am not one for reprimanding my 'mates' over much and was more curious.

    Fred is the GUILTY party.

So sorry for your loss, Rick. You'll pack up all of his stuff for now, but soon you'll have a new buddy... you haven't met yet.

Dolo and Sadie are now together, the headstone came out nice. They will be missed.

Now Archie is the sole family dog, he was saved from a kill shelter. I guess no one but us wanted a toothless, fat, 10 year old, well, lucky us, because we love him!

Xander helped with my restoration, so he got a few free rides as well! My buddy turns 5 on Sept. 11th.

He's our third Shepherd. Emma took us through the first 12 years of our marriage, Sabina took us through the next 12, and now we have had this handsome fella for the past 4 years. Flunked out of RCMP training. Just didn't have that killer instinct I guess. He's a lover, not a fighter. Though if you hear his bark when you come to the front door you will surely soil your underwear.

Northernthrux, your dog is gorgeous, and am curious if there are tricks to manage his coat and shedding..

Not mine, but anyone with garage and porsche will appreciate..
