    Found it... I think. Nice product! I see this is for a early-early 911. The sound pad that was rotted (and removed) from my car was "smooth" finish.

    '70 was a transition year. I have a two 70's. One came from the factory with the grained pad and the other with the dimpled pad. Others have reported the same thing.
