Thread: Porschetec - Alberto Castro

Same issue here. In December 2023 I bought washer pumps, but he sold them also to another buyer.
    We both complained about delivery.
Since the other buyer was very local to him, he got the parts out of the hands of AC. I got finally refunded.
If I see his FS items now, I just neglect them.

Well that’s a really mixed feedback..

What bothers me is that he replied 10 days after the transfer that the carriers are boxed and ready to ship but has to go to another post office as it is international shipping and on 11th April that he has to check « what’s going on » and he would send a tracking number quickly but 1 week later he does not respond to emails anymore.

Yes it’s been quite awhile. I made contact and he acknowledged that for whatever reason the item wasn’t sent and offered a refund. I was fine with that, except that I’m still waiting for the refund.

It pains me to do this but I’ve moved this discussion to General Info. I believe that it is important for all of our sellers to be responsive to concerns. I look forward to this seller responding here. It should be a lesson for all sellers.

    Hi Peter,

I purposely posted my post in the « for sale parts » section as I think it will hopefully prevent other members to get potentially scammed (if Alberto Castro corrects this situation I will post it).

If he does not, I suppose that it is more impactful to have this thread in the For sale parts section, where there is a Scammer alert sticky.

^^^^ I hear what you’re saying but I don’t consider this seller to be a scammer at this point. Some practices can be improved upon so I’ll leave this info here.

Bought quite few parts from AL, slow but always arrived. Simple fix, ship within 24 hours and if not follow up regularly.
