    S-Caliper Compensating Lines

I mentioned in another thread that we found a new source for the compensating lines (factory would cost around $140 for the pair).

I have roughly 5 pairs I will be ordering tomorrow. If anyone else would like a pair let me know by tomorrow. Prices will be:

    $25.00 for Steel
    $35.00 for Stainless Steel

Shipping will be $4.60 to the US. $10 - $19 International

Do you have any pics? If they have the correct original shape I would like 2 pairs (stainless) plus shipping to the UK.

Are the steel lines plated, or bare. Stainless are great for a driver, but would not be 100% for a customer restoration.

For a customer restoration you will probably need to go with factory lines. The are around $70.00 each. The problem; the factory lines are no longer the same green-coated lines they were back in the late 60's early 70's. They are now black. They can be seen on the very early S-Caliper restoration we did for the first 914-6 to leave the line (#11 is factory car from Gary Wigglesworths collection that was hot-rodded for press use):

I've checked with the supplier and they cannot (nor Porsche as it seems) duplicate the film like green coating on the lines.

The steel lines are plated (standard zinc) but not like the factory lines were.
