Wheel Fit For A Stock 70T

Will a set of 16/6 and 16/7 Fuchs fit on a 70T that is completely stock?

    The short answer is NO.

    Jim,
Short or not I appreciate the response. I take it that to use 16s, it would require some significant modifications to the suspension and/or body components. Again, thanks for the info and best regards.

    Ditto,
If you want to trade your 7X16s for 6X16s maybe I can help.
We have done quite a few to look like 6X15s. They fit and work well with the tire selection available.

To add to what the others said, its not the 16's that are problem, it is the 7" width and the available tires. 6x16 all around with 205/55-16 will work great.

I am running 205/55-16 BFG g-Force Sport A/S tires on 16x6's Fuchs. Once I got my suspension squared away, no problems. I did have a slight rub but my car is lowered below USA Stock height. Per Steve Weiner, I went to Turbo Torsion bars and had the car properly aligned and corner balanced at Rothsport. The car works great.

I'm going to take the other side here. I have 16x6 and 16x7 on my '73. I run 205/55-16 on all four corners.
