Are you the lucky new owner of the car from Rennsport in Sealy? I have admired that car for a long time. Congratulations!

This is the car bought in the parking lot at Amelia Island last year. I met Heinz and his friends. He asked about Porsches (original ones) and I pointed to the owner of "a few".

It's an interesting car. One photo of the upper right side of the hood shows where the original paint was lightly buffed. It's pretty amazing. Took a lot of pictures of the original moldings and the air conditioning setup since it was a factory AC car. Note the City of Roanoke decal. 1980.

Glad to see it finally made it, Heinz!

Lovely car. Good find. Congrats, Heinz. What month in 1972 was it produced?

I would love to know if the seat belt receptacle has textured or non-textured black cover. Could you maybe post a close-up of the receptacle:

    Thanks Heinz.

Sorry for any inconvienience this might be. It is just not often you get to see a unrestored original car with this level of original details present.

If photos are no option, maybe you could just check the receptacles next time you are with the car? The two different types of receptacles are seen here:

    Non-textured:

    Textured:

Production date is not shown in the documents. It is found on the silver label in the driver side door jamb: E.g. 10/72 or similar:
