Can I get a price check on these 14" Fuchs?

I recently acquired these Fuchs with the full intention of putting them on a soon to be purchased VW. However I've changed directions and bought something else so I don't have a need for these. I'd like to offer these up for sale but can't seem to find a consensus in the market for 14" prices. I've searched here, Samba, Ebay etc and for the most part I'm only finding replicas. The OEM's that I am finding differ in price wildly. I have a number in mind but want to make sure I'm not asking crazy prices before I list them. Any input would be appreciated.

They are in really good condition considering their age. I wouldn't call them perfect, but they are really nice. All date matched 3/69 901.361.016.00 Fox visible 5.5"x14".

    Any help is appreciated.

If I were selling a project/roller type car, I'd put these wheels on it so I could keep the steel wheels to give you an idea of where these fall on the wheel desirability chart... Unless you have someone restoring a 911e or 914-6 and they need these dates, there isn't a big market for them. If I were selling them, I'd ask 125-150/wheel and be pretty happy if I got that.

I just went through this with my 914-6, I paid $1100 ($220 each)for 5 date matched 5.5 x 14 then paid to have them refinished. Yours will need to be refinished, these also came on the 911E's. Hope this helps.
I see someone posted above, but I think since these are date matched they are worth more than roller wheels.

I would have to agree with 68912 although they make great wheels for my trailers. Name: HPIM0875.JPG

I've been getting between 2-300 a piece for em. 300 if they're date matched. It may take me a little longer than some to turn but I'm ok with that.

Sierra Madre Collection is offering a single 5½J" x 14" Fuchs Wheel for $1,274.51.

Because they're a storefront business, they probably set prices towards the high end, but if you have a date-matched set that set should sell for more than the totals of the individual wheels since it will completely "solve someone's problem."

Sierra Madre Collection would probably be happy to buy your wheels (albeit at a discount) if you value speed of sale over top dollar.

I know this has no bearing on what is happening today, but it seems like just yesterday I had a shelf full of 14" alloys and no one was interested in them at $75.00 each.

    Ciao

I received a pair of these in a set of wheels that I bought. I almost couldn't give them away. I think I got maybe $100 each.

Love the bus! Surely you're not still on the stock motor and pulling a trailer?

Thanks for the tip. I may give them a call although I'm not exactly fans of theirs right now... They've screwed me a couple of times on parts so far. Not sure how much farther I want to carry on that relationship.
