    Porsche 908 and Related Research

Hey everyone! LONG time lurker, but find myself posting today with some unique questions.

Although I know my way around early air cooled 911 topics, I have found myself doing some research on Porsche race cars, specifically the 907, 908, 910, and related mechanical components. After doing a few searches I'm coming up empty (no surprise). But then I could be doing it wrong. HA! So hopefully I can get a little help or at least maybe some contacts, links, or some other resources to help with my mission.

I'm looking for more information on suspension components, geometry, etc. It seems these handful of cars shared many of the same components; uprights, brakes, control arms, steering, etc. Seems even some of these driveline components may have carried into the later 934/935 platforms. Related to this, chassis details, specifically for front and rear clips would be helpful.

Any details, specs, pictures, cross-utilization between these series or others, would be very helpful. Any links to articles maybe not easily found in a Google search (done lots of those), maybe threads I couldn't find here, or even books or articles. Anything. I'm also wondering if Porsche developed any of these components with 3rd parties that may have found their way onto other makes (I'm guessing I know the answer to that). One of the hardest things I seem to have troubles with is finding pictures or details of just the suspension components themselves and I definitely don't have access to a car to look at, but may plan a trip to see one if possible.

I know I'm being a little vague in my asking. I'm not building a replica of any of these cars, but I have been researching an extremely unique car that may have used these components and I want to understand more about what they did when they built the car. it's just a little engineering research, if you will. But it could lead to semi-replicating a historic race car that seems to have disappeared.

Thanks for any help, everyone! It's appreciated!
