PCG stand for Porsche Classic Genuine or Porsche Classic Group or some such thing. A lot of their classic line parts starts with that. However, if you order a PCG34190400 (69-73 strut insert) from Porsche, you get a Koni 86-1638 insert. You just pay more for it.

Yeah, I figured probably aftermarket on the 82R-1394, but at least in period. Looks like Koni was making aftermarket sealed units that look just like today's units as far back as April 1973 to replace what came in those struts from the factory.

BTW, I can't see the part numbers on my car (as expected). Looking at some photos, if I squint, it looks like 901.341.083.10 for the strut assembly on the left.
