Hi,

I searched the forums a few ways, and don't see a Region for Italy (I see UK, France...) so asking the general question. As I've posted recently, I picked up a 1968 911S that was sold and lived most of it's life in Italy. I have incomplete documentation from the German collector I bought it from, and am looking to get more details on it's ownership and time there (over 40yrs) than what has been provided. I've already reached out a few times to Porsche Club Italia, but no response.

Has anyone had experience doing car history in Italy? I know that some countries the Auto Club is better than dealing with the DMV equivalents, etc.... and am aware there's no CarFax equivalent even on newer cars there. If anyone has any pointers or learnings I'd be very appreciative. This is the fun part, btw. I like the stories and people that come with them as much as the cars themselves.

Cheers,

Chris
