Hello,
I'm looking to sell my 1969 Porsche 911S. This is the original BaT listing of the car that I purchased: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1969-porsche-911-22. I recently moved from California to Lewisburg, West Virginia, and priorities have changed so wanting to sell to have some additional funds.
The engine number matches, but the transmission is a later one.
Since I purchased it, I have put in a good amount of work to get it mechanically sound and have started to get it back into a more original shape.
- Complete engine rebuild with new parts by Tom Amon
- New sound pad in engine bay
- New SSI heat exchangers
- Reseal Transmission, replace intermediate plate bearings for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 1st to Rev slider. Replaced speedo drive.
- New sachs performance clutch
- Replaced leaky oil cooler with new
- Replaced oil level sending unit
- Replaced CD + coil with performance ones
- Brake caliper rebuild
- Reverted to restored H1 headlights
- 1200 miles since rebuilds and 1k service was done by Tom.
- Changed seats to correct comfort recaros (needs to be reupholstered, currently in ok condition)
- Cleaned up trunk (done by RMG), not a mess like it was before in the BaT listing. (Here's RMG's gallery on the work they did http://www.realmeangarage.net/images...php?m=s&g=2164)
- Removed passenger side mirror and was welded and painted by Gabriel from UACC
- Replaced front bumper and valance with a used one with bumperettes. Paint and installation was done by Gabriel from UACC.
- Replace door panels with correct door panels (don't have the map pockets yet)
- Replaced incorrect engine grill with correct 5-slat engine grill
- Bought exterior door handles (NOS), haven't installed yet
- Bought a new set of window frames and quarter panel window frames that I was going to have bright dipped and replace the current black ones
- Bought a (maybe) correct steering wheel
Spent over $50k with Tom and RMG since purchasing, its very mechanically sound and drives like a dream!
I haven't gotten the chance to take updated photos yet, but I'll be taking some photos this weekend.
Here's some photos from during the engine rebuild: https://www.icloud.com/photos/#0c9PD...5hrqjy2FGW2SbA

Asking for $90k which I think is reasonable given the recent complete mechanic overhaul but open to offers.
