    Calling all engine # experts...

I (hopefully)just got hold of a 2.4"S" engine for the -72 "S" coupe....The engine # is stamped as follows: AT*63221xx*...it's the "AT" which is bugging me...Can it be an abbreviation of the German word: AusTausch = exchange/Replacement..i.e maybee a factory exchange engine from way back when??( or just wishful thinking,on my part?)

Also the "911/53" for the engine type is stamped in the usual spot, but with somewhat larger caracters than the little "tiny-ones" they usually used.

    Has anyone seen this before?...Chuck,Soterik,Jens,Rick C,Glaverbel,Roger G...anyone...Tabs....yes/No?...Frank....SWB SAM...Ray...?..
