Help! I'm restoring my 1972 S and it has a big crack in the center of the dash.

Are there any alternatives to bending over and paying $1300 for a new one from Stoddard?

Somebody on Pelican told me about 928leathershop.com They supposedly restore old dashboards - looks like they do 911s for $550. Anybody have any experience with them? Does the dash look original when they are done? They say they have "German vinyl" whatever that means.

Otherwise are there any cheaper suppliers of OEM dashes?

Thanks for any help. Paint work is done, I can't wait to get dash done, a new headliner in there and the glass installed.
