Great article in today's Wall Street Journal on Stefan Bellof who died 25 years ago when he clipped Jacky Ickx and lost control of his 956 at Nurburgring. The article focused on the record he set in 1983 when he turned the Ring in a Twin Turbo 956 in 6:11:13, a record that still stands today. No one has even come within 5 seconds of matching it!

Anyway, very interesting article. See it in the Sept. 1 WSJ, page D6.
