    Moon Rockets & 917s

Some heady times back then. About the same time on Sunday afternoon that Pedro Rodriguez' (and Jackie Oliver) 917 was crossing the finish line at the 1971 Daytona 24 Hour, just 70 miles away Apollo 14 was blasting off for the moon! I'm sure the launch could have been seen and heard from the track.
