This is the ducktail that came with the 1973 911S I bought a few months ago. It does not include the grille. The ducktail has a coat of primer, was painted red at some point, and later painted black. There are chips in the paint and a few surface scratches, but no gouges or cracks in the fibreglass. It is well made, dimensionally rigid and appears to be 1980's vintage. Car plus the ducktail was imported into Canada in 1989 and was already black at that point. Those are about the only clues I can provide for age.

Unlike many of the cheap ducktails I've seen (and this is one !), the centre brace runs the full length of the lid. This contributes to the rigidity.

There are two license plate lights on the lower lid. I have no idea if they work...but hey, they are lights. Not much to go wrong.

Weight is 13 lbs.

Asking $300 plus shipping.
