is there a gasket on the spacer for the pierburg dual pumps on Solex PI cars?

Does anyone know if the dual pierburg fuel pump for a Solex engine had gaskets in between the phenolic spacer. Mine currently has no gaskets, the last shop that worked on the car put gobs of sealer but it is the wrong sealer (Loctite 574) and oil is leaking out.

I am looking through my parts manuals and they show pumps, solex systems, chain covers but they show no mounting pump to chain cover so there is no place to show a gasket. It would have 2 gaskets if there should be any gaskets I would think, one for each side of the spacer. I would also wonder if this added distance affects the fuel pressure the mechanical pumps put out?

Any help from someone who has done one of these?
