    FS: '73 S engine

I decided to put my 73S engine and trans for sale as I doubt to ever find/afford a decent chassis to stab this engine in. A very original engine
complete with MFI this engine was top end rebuilt by Scott's Independent Porsche, Anaheim Calif. in 2007 and less than 2k miles were added after.
leakdown is no greater than 12%
    engine number 6331049 type 911/53
$16K for engine only ****SOLD PENDING FUNDS****

I also have the matching 1973 915/02 (5) speed transmission that I will make available to the engine buyer with first right of refusal.

This is a great opportunity to have a plug and play legendary 2.4 S power plant for your project, symbolic or hot rod for the price of a rebuild alone.

ps. the engine was purchased new in 1974 from Vasek so I dont think this will find a matching numbers car.

however should you own a orphan 73 S chassis maybe we can get together and start something interesting
