Current Tire Choices - What is your opinion or experience?

It's that time again; my pony's shoes are getting a bit thin... and I got a puncture during a recent outing and now have to find new rubber.... fast.

As with many of you, I am a big believer in Tire Rack's prices and ease of use. I bought a set of five B.F. Goodrich g-Force Sports in 205/60-15 from T.R. about 3 years ago, and they were both inexpensive and relatively good performers. Sadly, T.R. doesn't offer that tire in that size any longer... so I'm on the hunt for something new.

-I'm not married to Tire Rack as a supplier, nor that specific brand, nor that particular model of tire, but something similar is my target, e.g. very high performance, relatively quiet, relatively inexpensive. I'm willing to procure them from a different supplier, but have no experience with other online dealers, and don't have a favorite local dealer here in the SF Bay Area.

So what are your (current) recommendations for 205/60-15 performance tires? Avons? Michelins? Dunlops? Vredesteins? And, if you have a tire-of-choice, maybe also pass-along a trusty supplier for said tires.
