    FS: 1968 911 SWT project

Buyer didn't follow through so available again. Also just posted on Ebay @ http://www.ebay.com/itm/131089098500...84.m1555.l2649

I bought this 1968 911 SWT a couple of years ago to restore for myself as a high quality driver (Vin 118800056) build date 11/67. I bought it running with a correct 901/14 but non matching numbers 2.0 aluminum engine, (4) correct 15x5.5 Fuchs (I had them refinished by Al Reed) etc. etc. My restoration slot with a local, NW Porsche restoration expert finally came open recently and I had the entire chassis media blasted to bare metal and the results have left me with a larger project than makes sense for me (a lot of metal repair). this is now a project for someone with more time and skills then I have. The car is complete with a lot of restored parts (Restored targa top, new wiring harness, all instruments rebuilt by Hollywood speedo, rebuilt brakes and suspension (koni's), 5 speed transmission, etc. The car is located in Seattle and I would be glad to have a discussion with anyone that's interested in it. I would sell the complete car with the 2.0 long block, tranny and a lot of restored parts for $28,000.00. The Original color is light ivory with black standard interior. I have a few pics before it was blasted and will go take photos in the next few days. The doors, trunk, hood and front fenders are in good shape with very little repair needed, some parts are already in epoxy primer. The most significant work will be in the floor pans, longitudinals and rear quarters. Discussing in person or on the phone probably makes the most sense. It's really frustrating to have buyers commit and then have them back out three weeks later because they haven't thought it through.....Please don't waste my time unless you're serious, I'm glad to discuss at length, take more photos, etc. This is a great project!!

Feel free to call anytime or email.... Thanks, Mark (206) 890-4615 or potvin@gbk.com
