    FS: @eBay - 1968 912

    Here we have a 1968 Porsche 912 recently pulled from a long slumber. Originally Sand Beige (paint code 6807) the car was repainted gunmetal gray at some point. The car looks just as it did when it was parked with the key hanging from the ignition. The car is covered in good original parts including the set of 5 date-matched wheels (all dated 11.67) with painted crest hub caps. and an orange bar hood crest.

    The car was restored at some point in its life to amateur standards. The paint, prep work and body work all leave something to be desired. Rust repairs were made to functional level only, and since then some rust has resurfaced. See photos for one example of this rust. The interior presents as a clean driver - see photos for the condition of the interior. The engine has seized from sitting. Original Driver's Manual is included.

    With sorted mechanicals this car could be a very presentable driver as is. It retains gobs of original one-year-only parts like day/night mirror, door panels, gauges, matching spare and more. Close your eyes and imagine yourself in this sand beige SWB '68 912 at the next get together. With the value of SWB cars going through the roof there won't be many more chances to get in on the ground floor. Priced to sell.
