    Wink And why not a 912 Soft Window/coupe?

    I believe this thread should belong to the General Info section but since it's a 912, I'm posting it here.

    I think the interest is rising for these cars, as they deserve to be considered even if they are not "top of the food chain".

    I've recently driven a soft top and own a coupe version, and really enjoyed them both.

    Better balanced and lighter, they cannot compete with the "S" 911 models but I think a serious alternative to a "T" model (especially the 2,0 engine) and financially still reasonable compared to the rising prices of the 911.

    Perhaps this is an old debate and I should be sharing my experiences with the 912 forums instead of here, but in the soft top version, you really don't need the additional power of the 6 cylinders, and I never felt I wasn't driving a proper Porsche....
