Size: 88.7 KBI've just joined the Early 911S Registry to help get connected on restoring my '68 911L. I bought it from my uncle back in 1992, but put it into storage for 18 years while we were living in Europe. Now that we're back in the States, I've gotten it out and have now restored the engine, tranny, electricals, suspension and brakes. With all of that now in good shape, I've finally gotten around to focusing on some of the interior work. Back in 1992, I foolishly replaced the original Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio with a modern CD player. FORTUNATELY, I kept the old unit that I now want to reinstall.

Do any of you guys have any suggestions for somebody who refurbishes these units? I'd love to get this back into the car is it's the only non-stock item in the whole car! Many thanks for any help you guys can provide on this.
