SWB Drivers side durant mirror location

    Hi

I am using later side impact doors on my 1968 911s restoration (this is a UK car).

I am looking to add large durant door mirrors but will need to drill out holes.

Looking at the doorframe, there are two small indents where two approx 12mm holes where on previous model year frame.

Am I correct that these holes should be drilled out from frame through the skin with approx6mm drill, then widened on the frame to 12mm circular hole, that would accommodated a socket fitting to attach the mirror ?

    Many thanks , Rich
