    Mystery Green Wire

    Hey folks,

I have been working a remake of a harness for a 67. During that process I have come across a Green wire that enters the harness in the same position as where the Green/Black ( which is for the Oil temperature sender) enters the harness. The Green/Black wire is separately sheathed and so is the Green wire The wire enters the larger trunk of the harness and follows the Green/Black all the way to the large combination instrument. (#25 on a wiring diagram). But I can't find this wire anywhere on a diagram. Also, I have 2 harnesses out of 67s and the wire is present on each of the harnesses.

The only green wire I see in the whole harness is the one for the fuel sending unit, and that is on the complete opposite end of the car.

Any ideas? Maybe something for a European car?

    Steve
