Hi John,
Ed Mayo called me this morning about your 911S, as I have been looking for one. Could you email me when you have a moment?
Thank you,
Glenn Burgess

1969 911S SWT. One of only a handful left and, in my humble opinion, the best one. One long-term owner before me, found in Cali by another forum member, never restored, and 85k miles.
Plus, one of my favorite car stories...

I gave up motorcycles because of a lousy wasp allergy- so the Targa isn't for me.
But the '69 911S is my favorite too!

LiveFromNY,
I've been looking for a very good car and was referred to yours. As a new user I think my ability to send messages is restricted. Can you please message me as I am highly interested in your car. Thank you.
Kevin
Thank you for all of the interest. I have a commitment from a fellow enthusiast to purchase the car. If anything changes, I'll let the other interested parties know.
Congratulations?
Bittersweet for sure. But I'm happy the car is going to be appreciated by a great new owner.
As an aside, I've had several conversations with fellow members who were looking at this car as an indication of the early car market. And this car sold at full ask in a week with numerous interested parties and at least two people who are now regretting not pulling the trigger quickly enough. If anything, I left some money on the table. I still think the market has softened but there certainly seems to be significant demand for good, no-story cars in great colors. Take that for what it's worth.
FYI... My Conda Green '71 911E with 48k miles is on it's way to BaT if anyone wants to jump the bids on that one. Another great car.
Congratulations on a beautiful car! By the way, Scott Kamrath from Porscheshop you referred to has remained in business here in Sarasota, FL for 40+ years. Years ago the local Porsche dealership forced him to change the name of his shop, now Scottshop. He just finished a complete rebuild of RoW 3.0 for me last month. He is a great guy and a very experienced Porsche mechanic.
