Always amazes me why folks want to post such negativity.

Think the same king traded several P racecars -- 908 & 906-- iirc for a impact bumper Carrera 2.7 circa 74. Didn't bring a trailer just sent a royal Jordanian airforce transport plane to do the logistics of the trade. Theres a photo of the switch at somewhere like Stuttgart airport showing this trade happening with the cargo plane doors open ramp down loading the 911. These days suppose those old racecars value greatly exceed the 2.7 G model price points on Hagerty valuation tool if they still exist ; )

As for Jim, Lighten Up, Go Fishing or Fix up your 911. Marvel in Montana w/ '68 912, former R-Gruppe member waiting reinstatement (sold my '72 911 S, way too early).

Frank. Trying to find a way to politicize this but its beyond my old brain. All I can say is I tried EASY twice for parts but came up empty. I think I talked to Jim on one of my calls and he was terrific. Sorry that EASY is gone. Also talked to Adam twice. He got me some Webasto parts for a fair price and the second time I was looking for a part for my 912 AC setup. Asked him about it at Hershey and he got back back to me a couple of days later saying he couldn't find what I needed in his various spare parts. Nice and appreciated follow up. Got to speak to his Mom at Hershey and she's a real gem. Remember that "parts is parts".

Sorry to bump in, but Adam, how do I reach you? Have sent emails through registry and your website but no reply, trying to purchase some 356 wheels.
Pascal
. . . I enjoy Adam's posts + contributions --- both here, and in the 356 Registry. Been reading them for years, now. Some of his finds may not exactly be the kinda stuff that I'm interested in --- but I enjoy his adventures = searching for + finding + getting stuff. Hope he continues to contribute
And I never got the 'self-promotion' vibe from his posts --- usually more focused on looking at his pictures + reading his accounts . . . but/then/again his name on our site is Unobtainium-inc, so . . . maybe I'm just more used to thinking of Adam The Guy vs The Business?
Anyway, as for any 'narcissism' on this site --- well . . . here's a short list of associated 'traits' that I came across . . .
- Arrogance
- Domineering
- Grandiosity
- Pre-occupation with success and power
- Lack of empathy
- Belief in being unique
- Sense of entitlement
- Requires excessive admiration
- Exploitive
- Envious of others

Don't get any of this from Adam, like ------- at all
On the other hand . . .
.........
The Registry website has been acting up, you're about the 5th person to tell me they sent me a message that I didn't get. Email me direct adam@unobtanium-inc.com
I'll help if I can.

For probably the first time in many decades the King's car has a roof over it's head. I went to my storage barn today to grab the rolled over C Coupe that will provide the chassis for the 550 project and put the kings car in it's place. It will rest comfortably with my autocross 914 and the A Coupe that won at Daytona. I hope I live long enough to finish all my projects, at 45 I may be running out of time....
