Mike,
Make sure the packages are sealed, when you pick them up. I ordered a set from Porsche and when they arrived one package was opened. Didn’t get around to installing them for a month and when I did, I found that one was a URO seal. Someone returned it to the dealer and I got stuck with the ill fitting piece of crap. Too late to return.

It will be interesting to see how they fit. From my experience a few years back, they must be modified to fit the early Targas.

I can second Tony's warning in post #4 above. It is as if some people are "scamming" Porsche parts departments by substituting aftermarket seals into packaging from Porsche originals. Your local parts agents then hand the packages to you unknowing. This has happened to me several times, but because I'm on to it, we reject the part and start over again. Unfortunately, the part and package just goes back to the warehouse and is probably foisted on some other unsuspecting dealer/customer combination. I'm not suggesting this is widespread. But it is worth being suspicious when you order, for example, right and left side seals and one arrives in an unopened, sealed factory package, and the other is in a different size bag with a replacement label closed with a piece of clear plastic tape.
Got my seals today, packaging looks unaltered with Porsche labels dated May 2011 & June 2012.
