A couple of layers of Kilmat-80 in the RatBasterd... fun stuff. Now if I want engine music I just open the rear quarter windows.

I just finished up a carpet install on my 73. Not a nightmare but a challenge I did not expect. I've done several 356s and consider those significantly less of a challenge. But I took my time and I'm happy with the result. The toughest panel was the rear center that covers the back of the seat cushion area. Compound curves.

Installed 20mm seat risers. It took some time getting the seats to slide on the rails. But we finally got it done and all is good.
Also installed new Shifter bushings. Makes a huge difference. Shifting like new.
Also installed larger idle jets (went from 55 to 60's) Runs like a 911 is supposed to run. Pulls out of the hole much more smoothly.

Just started on a semi custom interior for my 71. I fabricated a full length knee pad and installed some custom dash trim inserts. Working on door panels, then will change out carpet and upholstery. Sorry for sideways pictures. Not sure why they loaded that way. I, also took it and the 914 to the 33rd annual Ed Carroll Motors car show.

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.
What's the difference between heroin addiction & P-Car projects? Heroin use has it's limits.
That's a really cool look!
