    Dealer Description:

Extremely original example of a rare 1973.5 Porsche 911T Coupe with factory optioned sunroof. Having been owned by a number of prominent collectors since sold new, this early Porsche 911 is a well cared for survivor and retains nearly all of it’s original Silver Metallic paint. The original front suspension pan, floors and rockers are all rust free.

The original matching numbers 2.4 liter CIS engine runs very strong with only 58,000 original miles and has been properly updated with the Carrera cam chain tensioners. Very well maintained, since sold new. A $3000 documented service was recently completed. Over $6000 spent in suspension and brake service also. The original 915 five speed transmission shifts excellent. Rarely seen, the body is still wearing most of it’s original silver metallic paint and original special order red leather interior with perfect original dash top. Both doors have excellent gaps. Originally ordered from factory with sunroof, wheel well trim, S package and more. Original owner’s manual, service warranty book, detailed service records and original toolkit. The CIS injected 2.4 liter 911T is long known to be the smoothest driving of all the early 911’s. This is a great opportunity to purchase a very original 1973 Porsche 911T Sunroof Coupe in a rare color combination.

Late in the production run of 1973, Porsche started to install the more advanced Bosch K-jetronic (CIS) fuel injection system into only the 911T models sold in the United States. From an engineering perspective, these 911T models are the most advanced version of the early 911 combining the looks of the early cars with the drivability/reliability of the late model cars. The 2.4 liter CIS engine develops 148hp and provides a very smooth yet powerful ride.

Lots of recent sales history; listed on eBay Motors in February 2019 for US$116,000, then went to BaT later in the month and did not sell with the highest bid at US$67,000. At the same time there was a Craig's List scam ad.

    Dealer's Description:

Introducing a 1972 Porsche 911 T Light Yellow with Black Leatherette interior Featured in the Classic Porsche Magazine July-August 2018 issue.

The current owner purchased this car from a Neighbor in California in 1998 after selling his Weekend Driver, the car was very original with the exception of the MFI System, that had been replaced at some point with a set of Weber 40 IDAs and the front bumper which was replaced with a glassfiber RS-style piece.

In 2000 the current Owner started a long restoration project himself.

One of the reason the owner kept this car in his collection the longest was the exclusiveness of the 1972 911 which for only one year had the unique design of the oil filter door on the front of the right wheel well.

Porsche had decided to move the oil tank forward to help weight distribution, the design only lasted one year due to inattentive consumers and gas station attendants who would put gas in the oil tank.
The owner carried out the majority of the restoration work himself in his garage with the exception of the interior trim.

For a home grown restoration this car is hard to beat.

The "Sugar Scoop " Headlights were part of the original specification and kept intact rather than swapping to Euro-spec headlights units.

The (Original Engine)2.4 -liter engine was rebuilt by the owner as once a Mechanic in the Air Force this was familiar territory but enlisted the help of a friend to rebuild the gearbox.

Out on the Road once again, the restored 6911 T is a delight to drive, but soaring values of these early cars is prompting the owner to consider selling the car to make way for a new project. This car has the Original Engine and Transmission and is a matching numbers car.

The car will be delivered with the COA from Porsche, the service records and receipts as well as a copy of the Classic Porsche Magazine July -august 2018 Issue.

That appears to be a scam ad. Pelican has one or two active scammers posting this week. They create new accounts as soon as one is banned.

    Dealer Description:

This 911 is an unusual car that I’ve had squirreled away for a few years. The paint (Dalmation Blue) on this car is totally original and looks like it will buff out really well, even the dust is authentic!

This car isn’t much of a project. It’s totally rust free and runs well. The interior could use a refreshening but otherwise it’s something that should be preserved. I have an exceptional amount of paperwork and history, basically everything from day one.

A local viewing is welcome and encouraged with appointment. We are happy to help buyers worldwide with shipping and freight logistics.
