Ford vs Ferrari...OMG on the big screen in Nov!!!!

Was on YT this am...watching some Goodwood racing

    and OMFG...

Ford vs Ferrari featuring Damon and Bale ..this Nov!..

wow.....great cast.......cars look good...but Im truly shocked ( and excited)at the casting...Bale plays Miles and looks hilarious. I just dont see Damon as a tall lanky Shelby tho, I woulda gone w/ Vince Vaughn!!!!!

hope its a good one..its always so hard to get this genre correct on screen

Id guess the public wont go to see it......wonder who funded it.

    . . . Hope He Can Drawl

Great story --- with some great characters . . .

    . . . there's a story about Leo Beebe --- Ford Corporate's point-man for the whole GT-40 Program, talking to the group after the '65 fiasco . . .

'. . . Some of you have said that I don't know anything about racing, but, from what I've seen so far --- you Guys don't either! . . .'

    Classic. Wonder if it'll show-up

    As for Damon? --- well . . .

    . . . he'll have his work cut-out for him

    He's kinda short --- + looks nothing like Ol' Shel . . .

I’ve been waiting for this for a long time! Reviews have been solid, and a racing buddy of mine (and son of Ritchie Bucknam, who drove the 3rd place finishing car in 1966) did some of the stunt driving.

As for casting, I would love to have seen fellow Texan Matthew McConaughey play ol’ Shel. But all in all, I’m glad that they made the movie, and am looking forward to the premier in November.
