Thanks,
Sorry I haven't updated this build thread.
It's an all steel ST build. I'm stitch welding and shaping the body still. I have the turbo flares looking pretty good, I've removed the incorrect turbo profile and shrunk them considerably, the rear bumpers from a 1969 911E have been flared to match and bolt up as they should. Backdating the rear bumper mounts save 15 pounds by the way.
Leather hide for the interior is on it's way from Stephan at GTS Classics.

Beautiful work!
Not to one-up you but this was one of the worst sculptures I ever witnessed. Door jamb/striker and some of the "thinner" plastic.
Continued success on the project!

Wow that's ugly. . Good luck to you as well.
I found more in the passenger side door, pounds of it and more slide puller holes. I repaired this and removed both impact bars for a big weight savings overall. While there I replaced the hinge bushes.
I made a template of the good door.
Please Note: I'm sorry to the group and Chuck for asking to remove my 912R thread. I sold the car and had to unfortunately.

What is wrong with people?! FWIW, that wasn't my car. Poor guy fixed it right and then the motor blew up about a year later (IMS bearing). He sold it to a junk yard.

Slide pullers and poly filler can 'fix' anything...

I found one area with rust. The video documents the steps except for the simple panel fabrication. I'm happy with the repair. All rust was removed and zinc enriched primer applied in several coats. It'll get leaded when I lead the rest.
