I would love to see those kardexes as well - the more different ones we see the more obscure information seems to emerge - like those M-Liste references that I have now found in a number of kardexes that I have but had not noticed before. maybe I should have has a broader topic heading - like "1969 factory built Sports purpose cars"
@rower on the thin metal bodies I had seen that reference to the GTS cars but as they were not homologated had put it aside somewhat as I was thinking about the use of thin metal bodies on "production", homologated, cars rather than the GTS's. In fact the GTS reference was one thing that started me thinking about the possible use of thin metal bodies in the 69's.
There are a number of references in books of a batch of (maybe 30 to 40?) thin metal bodies being produced and used in some of the 1970 ST's and possibly later year ones as well. Some of those bodies apparently had more thin panels than others although I am not sure if I have ever seen factory documentation on that or documentation in FIA papers. We all know that they did the run of RS lightweight bodies in the 73 model year (and by the way the weight of those on the same basis as the cars shown above was 900kg)
I have also been told about a 69S sports purpose car that has panels measured at the same thickness as the lightweight panels in the RS's

On possible M-Liste options apart from engine performance modifications I wonder if they may have included the use of "thin panels" to save weight which obviously would not be on any official M options list.

"M. Liste" car
Kardex for car referenced in first post of thread, Nashman on S Reg's RHD 69S
Does anyone know monaco1 on this forum? He is a low post fount of details and understanding of I imagine a lot more than he has shared to date.
Would love to hear from him on this thread.
(He owns and understands the unicorns)

thanks for putting in those links it shows that we have covered some of this before and skirted around the edges but apart from Robert's car that he posted details of back at the time had not identified any other confirmed non factory use cars until the Vard one recently. There must be more around especially if monaco1 is correct about the "base" model '911S Grundmodell' being available in 69 assuming he meant model year 1969 not calendar year which would be for the 1970 model ones that are already known about.
Those posts also covered Saunders post about the three SCCA 1969T's that he mentioned above. I am looking forward to seeing those Kardexes

exactly Bryce fantastic, thanks Sanders.
very interesting cars and exactly in line with this thread on 69 sports purpose even if not S's
They fill in a few gaps in my list of who got the special gearboxes in 1969 (only 22 Al and 55 Mg ones made) as well as showing a couple more M-List cars (that I will have to start keeping track of)
With the Vard car that accounts for 4 of the 8 901/79 AL Nurburgring gear boxes made in 1969
AND they have thrown up another engine code that I was not aware of before and is not in my spec books 6196xxx. Obviously a competition code - maybe someone here will be able to add to this information and maybe even have the engine type number which is not on the kardex but may shed more light on these sports purpose cars from 1969

What’s a 901.07 gearbox? (with a 901.10 motor)
