    Seriously, this car is worth your bids. Seller is already suffering remorse, but he is a gentleman and will honor his commitment to Gooding. If there is a better example of a wood dash car, I would like to document it.

    Covid-19 and the stock market crash probably held this one back to $185k. Great buy.

    It surpassed the high estimate so it seems like a win to me, but agree that Covid-19 and the 'crash' could not have happened at a worse time for those putting their cars through the Amelia Island auctions.

    It sure took much work by the auctioneer and a good amount of time to arrive at the final price. It stalled in the 80s for a while.

    Mileage: 43,815 (indicated on a 912 Speedo)..................that's has to be accurate...I didn't know 912 speedo's were worth so much....???

    i have the same car/colors but with sunroof. Full restoration on 33k mile car.
    Was planning to bring it to amelia this year. Glad i didnt.
