Funny I bought these GTS seats a few years ago from a guy that never installed them so they’re still in perfect condition in the box they arrived in. I just loved the way they look even though I didn’t have a car to put them in.

Indeed I too have lusted over Dave’s build. Over the years I’ve even saved other pics he has posted of his car. This is one of my favorites!

too bad that the torsion bars are broken at the front :-))
I have a single rare and totally original Recaro fiberglass 914 seat previously mentioned in this thread. Was in a car I recently sold so it will also be available if anyone is interested.
Mine’s finally on the road. I posted additional pictures on this thread: https://www.early911sregistry.org/fo...e)-Life-Crisis
Please excuse the unfinished driveway.

Watching this car go through the Corkscrew during RR6 was one of the highlights of the weekend for me—Thomas drove it super well, and getting low enough to watch the daylight under the cars proved an interesting comparison between this 914-6 and the hoard of taildraggers trying to catch up. Just clean, clean, clean through the bends. Looked like a fabulous setup.
And another very cool example. Feel like I've seen this car before…but I can't pin down where.
For all the limelight 914s have had lately, I still think they're underrated.
After 31 years spent driving the same 914, my thoughts on 914s sure were changing on this day…
