That bracket looks home made to me, pretty sure I have a picture of the correct one. Will post when I find it.

Pretty sure this is factory it’s on 70 , also have on my 71 , but was cut ....the ends are still welded on body .
The front component (clamp type receiver for radio ) just hooks over the 2 holes in the fixed bracket
    Interested to see yours
    Thanks

Still looking for my picture Frank, but this should help. The bracket gets screwed to the front wall not welded unless factory welded one in place if ordered that way.

It is welded in my '72T. My car was Tourist Delivery and ordered with factory installed Frankfurt.

Thanks for photo , that’s the item. If you have that assembly is it available ?
Looks like that part was available if not factory installed.
If none become available I can use the one on my 70 as template and weld-in to match.

Looking at the photo also looks like the outline remnant of the original welded item below the screwed plate .

I am thinking that factory ordered radio that bracket got welded in and maybe dealer had the screw in version. I don't have one but should be able to DIY one.

I needed one, so copied one (out of 79 930) with and made with what was lying around in the shed.
    Worked fine.
