I’m happy for the new owner, but very sad that Bryan had moved on. Please still contribute your great knowledge.

Jason, #451 has a long history in New Zealand, after being imported from Switzerland by its first NZ owner. I believe that Alan even found the original Swiss plates and sent them to Brian.
451’s next NZ owner Dudley took it with him when he moved to Australia.
It has extensive racing & auto cross history in NZ, and LOTS of video footage (VHS). If you google MrKUMEU Porsche on YouTube you will find some.
If you require additional history to supplement that which Brian has provided you, let me know - there are a number of PCNZ members who vividly remember your RS and the original NZ owner still lives down the road from me!
Cheers, Gary

Congrats Jason! My dream car that my wife actually thought I got an "RS" when I got my "regular old fashion 911" S.
Here's one of the videos of RS 451 in a Gymkhana.

Very cool video. Not sure how I missed this thread until now. I too have had the pleasure of driving 451 and driving many miles with Brian. What a wonderful car and Brian speaks highly of its new caretaker. Looking forward to meeting him.
Oh and Brian is definitely NOT out of the game. I hear Gold is the perfect ying to the former MW Silver yang.
