Early 911S Registry #1167
I think you have posted the documents that were used to specify the 911 T with Rally Equipment or T/R between the time when the homologation documents were sent to the FIA in November of 1967 and the First English Edition of the Sports Purpose Manual was issued on 6th March 1968. Your document lists the order number for T Rally Equipment as "M-Nummer ..." and it becomes 9553 in the Sports Purpose Manual. The T/R was not included in the March 1967 document For the Competition Driver.
These are interesting documents to add to the fascinating history of this car.
For those not familiar with this car, its story was documented in great detail in the thread

Here's a scan from Auto Motor und Sport Nr 6 from 16 March 1968 describing the 911 TR as posted by UAI a few years ago that you might find interesting.

The English version is as follows according to Google Translate.
Porsche 911 T in sports version
For sports drivers, the factory also supplies a special version of the Porsche 911 T, which was introduced to rally sport in a spectacular way thanks to its double victory at the Monte Carlo. This version, which is only intended for sporting use, contains almost all changes as standard that the sporting laws allow as improvements within the framework of Appendix J. It is well known that such modifications are very expensive if they are subsequently carried out on a production vehicle. And there is a lot that needs to be changed, not just at Porsche.
First of all, this special 911 T, which bears the additional designation M 553, was given a more powerful engine with 160 hp. So the S-Motor, as you can easily see. With an (included) sports exhaust system without an air filter and a modified carburetor setting, the engine has an output of 170 hp. In order to achieve the good 180 hp of the Monte Carlo winning car, of course, further reworking is necessary. A lighter flywheel ensures spontaneous revving and good acceleration in the lower gears. Of course, the car is only delivered with a five-speed gearbox, numerous gear ratios are available.
The chassis is already lowered as standard and can, in addition to the two stabilizers, have Koni shock absorbers, ventilated brake discs and 5 ½ inch wide light alloy wheels. All things that the 911 T normally has to resist for price reasons. Leather steering wheel, sports or bucket seats, halogen main and auxiliary headlights and the fittings of the S model complete the other equipment. On the other hand, as a driver of the Sport-T, you shouldn't be surprised if there are no ashtrays, armrests, cigarette lighter and other small items. They have been left out for reasons of weight savings, just as underbody protection and anti-drumming compounds have been dispensed with. The surcharge for this sports Porsche is DM 5100, plus VAT. In terms of the final price, the car is by no means cheaper than the 911 S, which is also homologated as a Gran Turismo, and which has roughly the same equipment to offer. However, the 911S is significantly heavier and, at 974 kg, 52 kg higher than the 911 T. Interested parties without sporting ambitions will hardly be able to use this weight advantage in everyday use.
I would like to add 11800224 to the list for Sports Purpose 1968 Factory Rally Kit cars. This was really a very successful Porsche 911S. It won its first race, a SCCA National Points race at Las Vegas, finished 7th over-all and won its class at the Sebring 12 hour International race, and then qualified for and won an SCCA National Championship. There are not many cars that were run in three different categories in one year and had wins in all three.

Alan,
Thanks for the additions. I’ve updated the list on the first thread with the information for 11800224.
It’s another car with an airport gear box along with the rally kit and sport kit II. It is interesting to see the 2.5 month gap between the two Kardex dates along with a typo on the gear box number.

Found this advertisement in Competition Press and Autoweek from July 5th, 1969 showing a 1968 911TR at Bob Brown Motors in Santee, California. Rennman had previously identified this car as 11820805 in the thread about Bill Yates.
It would be great to get better scan from Competition Press if anyone has this issue.
