    WTB: Early Recaro Fiberglass Bucket

As some may know, I am running a single Recaro bucket and it is likely to remain that way. However, as I look down the road, I can see a point at which I will want to put a 2nd seat in the car and it would be best if it "matches" the one I have. Here are images of my current one:

    Thanks for looking,

hi, if it is helpful for your search: your bucket is from around 1972/73. the middle stripe (cord) is no longer original. so it will at least be difficult to find exactly a second bucket (cord / stiches). I wish you success! greetings Uwe

jim, you shouldn't buy that! lethterette and cord are renewed and not 100% like the original. much worse: the back looks varnished! all in all, a pimped up used seat that doesn't really fit yours. plus a model without eyelets on the back. regards uwe

Could some one educate me please.
Do these seats come Left and Right or are they interchangeable.
I ask because there appears to be a 'scallop' on one side of the seats ?

Jim, forgive my intrusion, (& I’d love to see you put a passenger seat in there, so i could ride along when going out for dinner :-) ) but I’d like if Uwe can clarify why some Recaro Rallye models have grommets and others none.
I have a recaro, without grommets, with black vinyl and cord sourced by Sitzklinik in Germany. Is it very different from Jim’s fiber glass bucket?
