    Single DIN radio trim plate/bezel?

Looking for a single DIN radio trim plate/bezel. One that has the right front black material texture. Any ideas on a source?

    Thanks all.

I have removed a non factory Blaupunkt two knob radio. I'm replacing with a DIN unit. The two knob trim plate/bezel needs to be swapped or modified to surround the DIN sleeve... So I don't have the raw silver backer showing around the new unit. I figured it would be best to keep the original two knob trim plate/bezel if I need to go back. Thought there might be a black DIN trim plate/bezel out there that matches the material color & texture of the current, so I don't have to modify the one shown in the second & last image.

Ideally not ABS plastic. I like the current thin metal one that fits flush to the backer.

I have a radio faceplate that will match you old dash plate and cover the opening. Looks like you have a “72-73” car. I will post a picture of what I have, can you post a picture of your radio?

I have a 73. The radio I pulled out is just an old aftermarket unit. This is what I am putting in:

Sorry I misunderstood thought you were putting in a period correct radio. Anyway here is the dash plate you need: https://www.ebay.com/itm/23318607260...YAAOSw14xWMrMV
Then just use the material from your old plate to cover it.

I haven't seen a DIN box that will fit cleanly in the 72-73 dash. I suggest that you look into other ways of mounting your radio. Or find a post-mount radio, which is what these cars came with new.

Thank you for the ebay link. My surface material is not the basket weave. It appears to be a thin textured material that is adhered (very well) to the the original plate. And this is not going to come off... Any idea on if I can obtain that material to cover the plate you recommended?
