Thanks Ernie for the reply. I'm not sure which part it is. I bought #19, 901.531.935.20 pictured below, but I can't figure out how it would attach? It has 5 nibs on it which I would think would fit into 5 receptacles on the door??
Maybe it's part # 17 or 21?

OK, lots of parts in the door. #17 and #18 are a rubber squeegee that fit into #14 which is the aluminum trim on the outside of the door. #21 is a "U" shaped rubber/plastic channel that goes over the top metal edge of the door. #19 shown in the parts book is the RIGHT Door (901.531.936.20) "Seal, window cell, right joint". Same #19 part for the LEFT door is part number 901.531.935.20. Both have the 5 clips but made for right and left doors.

Good info thanks. So does #21, the U shaped channel, fit over the inside edge in my first photo above where the arrows are pointing to? If so, do you have that part #?
Now I need to know how/where part #19 attaches. Does part #19 require clips that go on the car to attach it to. In the pic below, where do the circled parts attach? Anyone? thanks

It snaps into holes punched into the outer door frame. It is installed before the glass.

No, #21 is not attached to the door, U-shaped #21 fits onto the window side of the garnish rail (#20) and cushions the inside of the window as it goes up and down, and as far as I know it has not been reproduced to accurately match the original. If someone has a source for #21, please let us know. I think there may be different numbers for left and right. Otherwise, you need to resurrect an original, which is extremely difficult to find in restore-able condition.

Thanks Ed and Franz. John, do you know the part# of part 21? Any photos of what it should look like?

Scott, I take photos later in day. I have garnish rails from a 66 911 that I'm restoring. They're off the car, so will be easy to photo. I'm hoping this thread will produce a source, although I think they're unavailable new.
