    Greg and I visited St George, Utah with the R Gruppe guys over the weekend. It was beautiful weather, great fellowship and so many outstanding long hood 911s, 914s, and short hood 911s. The scenery was spectacular throughout the area.

    You've seen this shot before, but it is worth looking at again...showing the proper proportions of this elegant version of the impact bumper 911 meant for serious fast street driving. The combination of flares, tail, wheels, and bumpers make this something truly special in looks and performance for a mid 70's 911.

    Got looking at old pics of this project....My last one. It was a labor of passion like all my projects were, but this one will stay in the family as my son Greg now loves it with a passion and will keep it in the family many years.

    A guy wanted some pics of the factory tail with license light cutouts. I believe this was a rear frame left over from the 73 MY that the factory used to form a fiber glass shell possibly for a 3.0 RS street version...or for a 75 Carrera. I left the cutouts open and used aluminum plates to cover the holes, leaving them unpainted...just to make them show....

    Such a great looking car Gib, perfect details, and so well done by you. The 3.0RS has always been one of my favorite factory built hot rods.
