    sun roof of 1965 (July) 911

    When I bought the car in 1976 the sunroof was not working. It was missing some operational parts. I am wanting to remedy that and not sure where to start. The schematics i have so far seen when Googling, don't seem to match what i have.

    Perhaps you have an early GOLDE sunroof. You should post a photo including the rear drain vents operating motor location, you'll get a better response if they know more about what you have.

    Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
    SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

    Hi Ken.
    As has been suggested, please post pics of your sunroof assembly.
    I have some parts from an O.E. Golde, it depends on what yours is missing.
