    Thanks to everyone for their help and to Robert Gross for his great pics as we have now been able to establish these brackets were in use from 70-mid 73 and exactly how they were used from 70 - mid 72, I already knew what was correct for early 72- mid 73.

    I have updated the start of the post to show the different mounting styles and how the same brackets were used differently depending on the mounting method.

    There may be many of you now wishing to fix your incorrect horn mounting especially those from 70 - early 72 when the horns should sit side by side, I still have quite a few sets available.
