    1973 911 915 5 Speed Transmission

    I have this tranny listed on eBay. I will adjust the price until it sells. If an ESR member wants the tranny and we do the tranny OFF of EvilBay, I will provide a $200 discount. So based on my current eBay price that means $2600 for the ESR members (delivered to you in the Cont US). I will try to adjust the ESR price as I adjust the eBay price.. If this sells first on eBay, then she's gone....

    Porsche 911 Type 915 Manual 5 Speed transmission. This transmission is from a 1973 Porsche 911 with mechanical speedometer driven by a cable. This transmission features a 7/31 ring and pinion and all the gearing is taller to run with the short ring and pinion. This transmission has an open differential with spider gears.

    This tranny was removed from a running 911 2 years ago and stored indoors on a shelf. When we drained the fluid we inspected the Drain Plug and it was very clean. I also took a photo of the transmission fluid in the Diff housing area to show how clean the fluid is.

    We removed the Stub Axles & Side Cover and inspected the Ring & Pinion - The R&P is VERY nice with NO pitting or damaged teeth (see Photos). Diff w/ Ring Gear, Side cover and Stub Axles have been reinstalled on the tranny.

    I recommend checking the syncros and bearings and resealing the tranny prior to use
